Dulorme, Redkach, Peterkin, Day, Cruz Win in New York

New York, NY - Earlier tonight, DiBella Entertainment presented a seven-bout card before a packed house at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. Headlining the card was WBA #10 junior welterweight contender Thomas Dulorme taking on Eddie Brooks in an eight-round contest. DBE Dulorme was returning to the ring for the first time since his first pro defeat to top-rated welterweight contender Carlos Abregu and campaigning in a new lighter weight class. The bout was contest at a catch-weight of 143lbs., although Brooks came in overweight, tipping the scales at 148 lbs. Boxing insiders were curious to see how the highly-touted Dulorme would respond coming off his first defeat, and the Puerto Rican impressed in a major way.

The Multiversum Schwechat, Austria will once again host a Team Sauerland fight night on April 13. The Main event of the evening will be the highly anticipated rematch for the EU Middleweight Championship between Roberto Santos (18-6-3, 10 KOs) and Marcos Nader (16-0-1, 2 KOs). Santos, who won the vacant EU Belt in Bamberg, Germany against Dominik Britsch, already fought the 22-year-old challenger Nader back in November 2012. After twelve exciting rounds, the bout went to the scorecards which resulted in a draw - a decision which didn't sit well with Nader.

New York, NY - On Thursday, February 21,Broadway Boxing returns to Roseland Ballroom in NYC featuring WBC #10 rated junior welterweight Thomas Dulorme (16-1, 12KO's) in an eight-round bout. Dulorme is looking to bounce back from his lone blemish as a professional to fellow top-rated contender Carlos Abregu (34-1, 28KO's) on HBO last October. Also scheduled to appear on the card in separate eight-round bouts will be red-hot lightweight prospect Ivan Redkach (13-0, 11KO's) and WBA #11 rated welterweight Charlie Ota (21-1-1, 15KO's). Additional bouts on the card will be announced shortly. The 10-bout card is promoted by DiBella Entertainment (DBE) and sponsored by Manfredi Auto Group, Newlio.com, and Everlast. SNY will broadcast the event tape-delayed. Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling (800) 745-3000. Tickets are priced at $125, $85, $65 and $45. Once beaten prospect Thomas Dulorme (16-1) feels that he only needs one tune up fight before he gets right back in the mix for big fights and a possible title shot. After his last fight, a TKO loss to Luis Abregu, Dulorme announced his intentions to move down to the junior welterweight division. In a recent conversation with BoxingScene, Dulorme made it clear that the loss to Abregu isn't the reason why he is moving down in weight.

Puerto Rican prospect Thomas Dulorme (16-1), who had a good run in the welterweight division, suffered his first loss on Saturday night in Verona, New York. Dulorme was knocked out in seven rounds by the hard-hitting Argentine puncher Carlos Abregu (34-1 28KOs). Dulorme doesn't have any problems making the welterweight limit of 147-pounds. He plans to take a break and return in 2013 as a junior welterweight.
