Rudy Salud, WBC founding secretary-general and close friend of Manny Pacquiao, says Miguel Cotto will be an easy fight at the proposed catch-weight of 143/144-pounds. Top Rank, who promote both fighters, are looking to match them on November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Sauld told Nick Giangco of Tempo that Cotto doesn't bring much to the table - other than his WBO welterweight title, and Pacquiao should get a heavy portion of the money.

"Cotto doesn’t bring much to the table except his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title," said Salud. "Outside of San Juan, Puerto Rico and New York, he cannot draw fans and bring them to Las Vegas."

"Cotto is naturally bigger so there has to be a catch-weight and should they fight at 143 or 144-pounds, it’ll be a walk in the park for our very own Manny Pacquiao."
