Tepic, Mexico - Both WBC lightweight champion Humberto Soto and Colombian Fidel Monterrosa made weight for this Saturday's rematch at the Palenque in Tepic, as part of the event "Night of Revenge" broadcast by TV Azteca and promoted by Zanfer and Top Rank. "Zorrita" came in at 139.5-pounds, while Monterrosa was also 139.5 pounds. Soto (54-7-2, 32 ko's) and Monterrosa (25-2-0, 19 ko's) are fighting in a ten round non-title bout at the junior welterweight limit. The contest will be a rematch of the match that was held in September 2010, where Soto retained his title by unanimous decision in a tought fight. Onn the same card will be another attractive rematch between Juan Alberto "Topo" Rosas (32-6-0, 26 KOs) and Jesus "Taquerito" Vazquez (24-5, 17KOs) over ten rounds at super flyweight.
