Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions is racing fast to finalize a rematch between Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40KOs) and Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12KOs) in the first half of 2014. Last month Marquez lost a close twelve round split decision to Bradley in Las Vegas, and the Mexican star disputes the result. Also in the race to get Bradley is Filipino star Manny Pacquiao, who would like to get the undefeated champion for his next return on April 12. Last year, Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision over Pacquiao.

"We are in negotiations for a rematch between Marquez and Timothy Bradley. We have always pursued what Marquez wants because of his devotion, professionalism and loyalty. I try to look for the best opportunities, he wants revenge and that's the fight we're looking for. We have made great progress in the negotiations. I talked to Bob Arum and we are trying to make that fight. The fight is not complicated to make. I have great optimism that it will be achieved, and it would happen in March or July," said Beltran.
