The war of words has continued to play out between British middleweight rivals Chris Eubank Jr. and Liam Williams.

Their clash is scheduled to take place this coming Saturday, in Williams' backyard of Cardiff.

The two boxers initially began their rivalry on social media and it played out for some time before the fight was finally finalized.

"I don't like this man. He is a total clown," said Williams during their face to face on The Gloves Are Off on Sky Sports.

"He is running off the Eubank name. He is an embarrassment to the Eubank name. He isn't half the fighter that his father was. He is more interested in being a celebrity than a fighter."

Eubank fired back at his words.

"Celebrity? Celebrity hasn't kept me in the game for 10 years and won me 31 fights. If you're not the real deal, you don't win, you don't get the following or the fandom that I have," Eubank Jr. said. "If I am a fake, why has he been calling me out?"

Eubank is very confident in his ability to win the fight in style, but Williams is not concerned.

"It will be difficult to dent his confidence because he is a confident guy. That's how his dad was as well. Confidence doesn't win fights. You need to back it up. You need to stand and have a punch-up. That's what I'm about," Williams said.

Williams has been out of the ring since April of last year, when he lost a spirited twelve round unanimous decision to current WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade. For his part, Eubank Jr. picked up two victories last year and is riding a five fight win streak.
