UK star Amir Khan continues to talk about a fight with close friend Ricky Hatton. Khan moves up to the junior welterweight division to challenge WBA champion Andreas Kotelnik on July 18. It marks the second time in less than a month that Khan has come out and expressed his desire to face Hatton.

Hatton is still considering his options after being knocked out by Manny Pacquiao in two rounds last month. Rumors persist that Hatton will return to the ring again and Khan is one of the names being considered for a fight. The biggest issue in making the fight would be the long running feud between Hatton and Khan's promoter Frank Warren [who used to promote Hatton].

"A lot of people are building it up and, after Ricky's defeat, Ricky wants to come back and get a big win so we're just going to leave it with the promoters," Khan told Sky Sports. "It's a fight that could happen and what a massive fight it would be in Britain.

"I'm just going to leave it with the promoters. At the moment I'm going my way and he's going his, but if the fight happens I think it'll be brilliant.
