This coming Saturday at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada, Bernard Hopkins will challenge Jean Pascal for the WBC/IBO light heavyweights titles. The bout will be their second meeting after fighting to a controversial draw on December 18. In the co-feature, former world champions Chad Dawson and Adrian Diaconu will collide. They were scheduled to fight severals year ago when Diaconu was Dawson's mandatory, but the fight never happened. The winner of Dawson-Diaconu will face the winner of the Hopkins-Pascal.

According to Hopkins, he's going to face the Dawson-Diaconu winner this year, likely in the fall and then he hopes to get IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute in the ring.

"The winner of Chad Dawson-Adrian Diaconu fight would be a fight that would happen in the fall.  Then, I would love to fight [But], if he is done with his contract over there at Showtime, I'd love to go back to Canada and I'd love to fight Bute and then if there's another optional fight there," Hopkins said.
