Lee Reeves remains in hospital after suffering a 10th and final round knockout loss to Gary Cully on Saturday at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland

Matchroom Boxing’s Monte Carlo show will take place on December 6.

Maxi Hughes will fight Gary Cully in Monte Carlo in a meaningful lightweight fight on Saturday night, when the former IBO titleholder is confident he’ll bring a turbulent year to a successful end.

LEEDS, ENGLAND – It is almost a year to the day since Gary Cully suffered the first professional defeat of his career when he was taken out inside three rounds by Jose Felix.

Fradimil Macayo has already set his sights on his next planned upset. The Venezuelan lightweight changed his life over the weekend with a stunning ten-round, unanimous decision victory over Cuban export Idalberto Umara. Macayo entered their DAZN-aired bout as a +550 underdog, but scored a knockdown en route to winning on all three scorecards (97-92, 96-93, 95-94) to prevail this past Friday at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida. Macayo made his U.S. debut and is willing to add another stamp to his passport for a fight on his current wish list.

Reece Mould and Gary Cully met in a well matched clash of styles at lightweight. Cully was stopped badly in three rounds by Jose Felix in May and decided to jump straight back in with another heavy handed fighter whilst English champion, Mould, was desperate for a win to move him into major title contention.

Chantelle Cameron and Katie Taylor were once again well under the divisional limit for their second showdown between undisputed champions. It was all business throughout fight week and during an intense staredown ahead of their anticipated rematch this Saturday on DAZN from 3Arena in Dublin. England’s Cameron was 139 ½ pounds in a bid to retain her fully unified junior welterweight crown. Taylor—the 37-year-old legendary figure from Bray—was 139.6 pounds in a bid to avenge her lone career defeat. Both fighters were 139.7 pounds ahead of their first meeting, which saw Cameron spoil Taylor's long overdue homecoming with majority decision win on May 20 at this very same venue.

Gary Cully insists that he isn't feeling the pressure ahead of his make-or-break clash with Reece Mould on the undercard of Chantelle Cameron's huge undisputed Super-Lightweight World Title rematch with Katie Taylor at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland this Saturday November 25, shown live worldwide on DAZN.

Gary Cully will make his big return to Dublin this November when he fights Reece Mould for the WBA Continental Europe lightweight title – but this time he insists his homecoming is “personal”.
