Matchroom Boxing’s Monte Carlo annual show will take place on December 6.
It is thought that returning heavyweight Johnny Fisher and two-time world champion Joe Cordina will be on the Monte Carlo Showdown VI card at Sporting Monte-Carlo’s Salle Des Étoiles. The card is set to include “world title fights and household names” but there has been no confirmation about who will appear.
Previous attractions at Matchroom’s Monte Carlo fight nights have included Murodjon “MJ” Akhmadaliev versus Ricardo Espinoza Franco, Beatriz Ferreira-Licia Boudersa, Leonardo Mosquea-Chev Clarke, and Maxi Hughes-Gary Cully.
Matchroom Sport chairman Eddie Hearn said: “This really is a special event for Matchroom Boxing – and this year you will see the best card we have ever staged in the Principality.
“Monte-Carlo oozes with class and, over the years, we have matched it by delivering some truly memorable Fight Nights showcasing some of the biggest and best talent in the sport.
