What color is Cuchinta/Kutsinta?

Depends how much achuete (annatto) or other food coloring has been
added, as well as how white the rice and sugar used were. Generally
speaking, home made cuchinta tends towards brown, whereas mass-
produced cuchinta tends to have a more orange aspect.

Since a lot of other Pinoy sweets have a brownish color, cuchinta is
usually (and more to the point, distinctively) described as "orange".
