What's the answer for all the inner city violence?

By having an actual upstanding role model in the household. Which basically is just having a parent that gets up everyday, goes to work, actually cares about their children and their future(not just when it is convenient), and doesn't really care to be bothered about other BS that is truly not that important.

I grew up in the inner city of Houston (Southwest Gulfton) and every single gang member, trouble maker, and drug user in school had parents that did not see any urgency whatsoever to tell them to stop or better yet force them by beating some sense into them. My mom kept me and brothers in check by showing us from a young age that she is in charge and actually disciplining us and following through with whatever she said she was going to do.

There is a lot of parents that condone their child's behavior because they act the same way. Some kids parent where still in gangs in their 30's and selling on the side, all the while not working and receiving assistance.

And it is not limited to one race. I say this as a hispanic that grew up in a predominately (90%) hispanic area. When that is all they see it is no surprise why they turn out that way.

If we could convince parents to actual parent their kids that would be a great start.

Enforce existing laws. Punish the small crimes as well as the big ones. A greater police presence in dangerous neighborhoods.

Education and a lot of jobs. But until the parents don't take charge it will continue to happen.

all issues begin at home, raise you kids well and hold them accountable, teach them values and love and you will have less crime, racism, stupid police etc etc

More fathers.

It's as simple as that.

Go to any prison and ask the men there about their fathers. You'll find that no matter the color, a majority of the inmates did not have a father in their lives.

If parents did more the culture of educating yourself and having a purpose would diminish the inner city violence. I work as a case worker and see way too many parents simply not doing the bare minimum. It is like the street is educating the kids.

Root cause of most of society's problem is parenting but people don't want to hear it because the truth hurts, and trying to spin up new and flexible genders and other silly nonsense directly conflicts with preserving and valuing the traditional family unit.

That’s happening now, mostly in cities with very strict gun controls...

I am not white , the problem with the "white people do it too" argument is they are not the one's crying about being oppressed despite their situation they don't blame the government/system for all their problems(small % might).Black community makes up 13% of our country and they commit most of the violent crime against other races and their own.Truth is a medicine that is hard to swallow , 70% of black babies are born out wedlock , black mothers marry the government and turn their children away from their fathers.Why do you think most(not all) black men are emotional just like a woman ,men are supposed to be logical not emotional, they take on a single mother's identity.

I don't say any of this to be "racist" I say it because I want the black community to wake up and prosper every problem in the black community can be traced to the Democratic party, they have been lied to dumbed down and demoralized to the point were they cannot think for themselves.Name another ethnic/race group that votes for a single party going on 60 years at a 90% clip.Name another group that has "leaders"(Sharpton, Jackson types).Democratic policies have destroyed the black community and family in a way that slavery and segregation never could think about that.

Your avg black person has more of chance of experiencing violence from another black person than a white police officer.If they choose to think for themselves they will likely face racism from another black person not from a white person.But what are they out there protesting.

Biden announced today if elected he would give 11 million illegals citizenship.Black people are being replaced and Hispanics do not abort their babies , your race is being exterminated look at the % of planned parenthood clinics in the hood and most sit back and pull the lever for the Democrats.

anyone who committed a murder willingly should just get the death sentence automatically, no trial needed.
