Trump tweeting about destroying cultural sites in Iran is one of the most sickening things I have ever seen a U.S president say. Its also a war crime. But the Americans never face justice it seems.

Isis done the same thing in Syria iirc by detroying cultural sites. Seems Trumps got a horn by the head choppers previous actions.

No need to bomb cultural sites.

Bomb their radio and tv stations and all other communications.

All their ports, rail station and bridges to cut off transportation.

Oil fields and refineries to empty their wallet.

Even carpet bomb farms and major food processing plants to cause mass starvation.

Then blockade the area thru warships and aircraft.

Leave them blind, dumb, broke and hungry.

Starve the country to death or submission. With not a single boot on the ground.

So America kill one 'bad dude' with massive predictable blowback increasing tensions even further in the region with no obvious 'win' for the US in taking this action. Unless someone can clearly explain to me how the cost vs benefit analysis comes out as a net benefit if the end goal is peace in the region?

And you see that's the point. The end goal here is not peace. Quite the opposite. Too many naive people think everyone wants peace. There are plenty of motivated and powerful people who do don't want peace in that region as peace is not good for business.

But still people on here and elsewhere will fail to see the bigger picture and argue endlessly about why the act of killing one guy was for the greater good and in the end was justified.

Now that this guy is dead the world and US embassies and military personnel in the middle east (a large portion of it illegally occupied by the US) are a whole lot safer!
