How Often Do You Think about Death and the Afterlife

Serious question. How often do you think about death ?

Every once in awhile. More so lately since I had a family member pass this week

Do you have a will?

Yes, it's highly encouraged in the military. Had one drawn up when I started deploying

Do you want to be creamated or buried ?

Cremated. Would like to have my body disposed of in the cheapest way possible

Do you believe in a Afterlife ?

Of course

Yes. Christianity

Do you believe or see ghost ?

Nope

Have you ever been a near death accident?

Not an accident but had a heart virus about 15 years ago where there was no treatment. Body had to fight it or die

Are you scared of dying ?

Not really. More scared of disappointing God

What age do you want to leave this Earth ?

Whenever the Lord decides it's time for me to go. I would like to see my kids grow though but if not it's for a reason

If you had a choice to live for ever would you take it ?

I have eternal life through Christ

Think about death frequently. How can you not? It’s all around you. Also, think about old age which scares me more than death.

Want to be buried in an environmentally friendly way -no elaborate caskets or burial plots.

No, there’s not one iota of evidence to suggest this.

Yes. Almost broke my neck surfing in Hawaii

I think about it more as I get older and see more people passing away.

I absolutely believe in an afterlife and judgement after death.

What’s there to be curious about? When you die you won’t know it. Your consciousness will seize to be, like turning off a light switch.

Because living organisms have something in their DNA that wills them to survive, reproduce and avoid things that lead to their demise.

Because not being, not feeling , not existing, not remembering, for all eternity is scary lol?

Eternal nothingness, is scary.

Whenever i'm going through a rough time in life, or I have to face or do something terrifying or difficult...

I focus on dying... I remind myself that one day i'm going to be dead forever.

It's like replacing a fear with an even bigger fear, and once I reach that state of mind I can do anything fearlessly, because the scariest thing is at the end.. not right now.

The time for fear will come later.
