But hey, it’s always interesting when you fiscal conservatives advocate for policy that costs society more money. Instead of having insurance pay for abortion let’s have taxpayers pay for the health costs related to back room abortions and the money to prosecute doctors and nurses.

Let’s force women to give birth and force them to have to spend the money necessary to House and raise said child. if she can’t afford it, cool because now the government programs you all hate are needed to raise said child.

Of course if they abandon the child then all the costs are on is the taxpayers in addition to the costs for all the problems associated with kids whose parents abandon them.

More money, more money, more money.

    Brilliant.

You and others who think like you are literally out of your mind. What you just admitted was that you are ok with murder so long as its not your kid.

Ironic part is that abortions are disproportionately prevalent in minority communities, and serve as a much more effective population control measure than any crack, aids, or government conspiracy circling around the internet.

damn aint that the truth they care about unborn fetuses but not about real live babies and humans. i say a woman has a right to decide whether her body develops another human or not. its her body after all.

        Many cannot afford birth control.

Again, it is an embryo, not a child. 80% of what you call a "child" are aborted by the female menstrual cycle.
        That is just a fact.

Also, outlawing abortion has been proven over and over again, to NOT decrease abortions. Maternal leave and healthcare are the proven way to reduce abortions. That and contraception. Many females, in both rural and inner city areas, receive birth control through Planned Parenthood. Take away their birth control, and abortions go up.

To prevent abortions, we need to expand access to birth control, family leave, and health care coverage. Outlawing abortion does not reduce abortions. This has been proven, time and time again.

If you are really against abortion, then you should be for expanded access to birth control, family leave, and health care coverage.

I don’t believe abortion is murder. I’m fine if you do. Just stay out of people’s lives.

The 80% aborted does not make a woman pregnant, what is in reference is actually what begins growing in her and has taken form, and that is the beginning stages of a baby. You can throw around semantics and scenarios all you want, in the end its a child, its something you and others have to deal with, its a developing child and no matter how much word diarrhea you want to spew calling it something else, it just wont fly, say it with me, child.

As for the affordability of contraception, that is the poorest and lamest excuse anyone can make. Condoms are literally free at planned parenthood, or run about on average $1 a condom. Go peddle your nonsense elsewhere.

And say by some odd chance you still get pregnant, you can take what they call an "abortion" pill, where it flushes out the fertilized zygote before it even has the chance to grow any further.

These stupid nightmare scenarios of using hangers for back alley abortions is just asinine, and nothing but fear mongering. If abortion is outlawed, people, women in particular will be a lot more conscious and aware of not only choosing their mate but using the necessary protection to prevent any sort of accident. Abortion is a poor excuse, especially in a time when are are so many methods to prevent the pregnancy in the first place.

Now, I'm not completely against abortion in cases of rape or if the baby has an inherent terrible disease. I also understand it's a very tough call to make regardless for majority of women, and for them having that option available is their last safety net.
You must be ecstatic about Obama Care. Because of ObamaCare has resulted in a dramatic drop in abortions.

The report found that abortion rates declined in every region of the United States between 2011-2014, with an overall decline of 14 percent. Abortion rates dropped in all but six states, declining by an average of 3-6 percent per year.

In 2013, the abortion rate fell below a million for the first time since the 1970s. This change comes in spite of growing numbers of women of childbearing age. By 2014, the abortion rate was 14.6 per 1,000 women aged 15-44. That’s the lowest rate ever recorded.

Can the Affordable Care Act Take Credit?

The Affordable Care Act greatly expanded access to contraception, requiring almost all plans to cover birth control. Use of the most effective birth control strategies, including hormonal contraceptives and intrauterine devices (IUDs) has increased. The drop in abortions coincides with the implementation of the ACA’s birth control mandate.

Yeah, thats great news, that doesn't mean I am for Obamacare though lol? How'd you jump from point A to point J? There are far bigger flaws to dislike Obamacare than the good you provided.

Again, 80% of embryo's are flushed out. It is an embryo until the second trimester, about 4 months after conception. I know you do not like facts. Children like you seem to have trouble with the concept of science. So, you are only proving you are an idiot and a hypocrite. Again, 80% of embryos are flushed out during the period. These are developing.

Also, yes, many do get contraception through Planned Parenthood. Which is why defunding Planned Parenthood is the last thing one would want to do, if one is against abortion.

Since ObamaCare, many now do have access to affordable birth control. And that has led to historic lows in the numbers of abortions in the U.S.

Restrictive abortion laws do not decrease abortions, they just make them more dangerous. Expanded health care coverage, family leave policies, and affordable contraception do decrease abortions.

What are the flaws? Historic lows in uninsured people, historic lows in abortions?

What are these flaws that are more important than abortion?

I say let it go back to being a states rights issue just like prior to Roe V Wade. In fact it was only about 3 states that had abortion rights. It was the liberals that decided to go into conservative states, Texas being the one singled out, to force it for all 50 states.

There's a reason why we have the 10th amendment, aka, states rights. It was the liberal that pushed too far into getting their New York and Massachusetts politics for all 50 states.
