I couldn't care less about money as long as I can get the basic things I need. Back in socialist Eastern Europe we had everything we needed. Sports were valued highly, strong military, the national ideal was strong men who could defend their nation. There was a lot of solidarity among people. Maybe the economies weren't as effective but at the end of the day people got food on the table. So you wouldn't have useless trash like iphones, who cares?

We also had a healthy birth rate. Look at what happened after socialism was replaced:

Germany and Italy have horrible military btw. Socialist countries had a much stronger military. France and Britain have something resembling an army but the rest of Europe not really (bar Russia of course).
    Merkel's Children are Germany's army.

The graph starts when the communist regimes were already implemented. The birth rates were high right after the WWII then it normalized. After the socialist regimes were destroyed the decline immediately started. The bottomline is that the socialist regimes had healthy birthrates and didn't need immigration. Which is why Eastern Europe is still ethnically clean unlike the degenerated West.

Also, I never argued that socialism was better than the regimes that existed before the communist takeover (nationalist pro-religious regimes). It was only better compared to what came afterwards (liberal capitalism).

Life expectancy reached its apex for Russians under the soviet union, it's declined since.

Most Russians surveyed want the soviet union to return.

The communists took over in 1945. The graph starts in 1951.

The population trend was positive in communist systems, there was no sharp decline from the mid 60s to late 80s. 0.5 is about right and where is should be, no need to overpopulate countries either.

Left and right wing distinction doesn't mean **** in Eastern Europe. It has been forced and never had any meaning. I am a Slavic nationalist and traditionalist. I don't care about left and right, there should be no place for either of them. I want a strong totalitarian system where the entire nation would be represented as an organic unity. No place for right wing or left wing divisiveness.

The "communist" systems in Eastern Europe built strong nationalist totalitarian systems. The ideals of those countries were strong men and strong military. There was no LGBT movement, no feminism, no consumerism, no "minorities", no capitalist individualism, no organized crime, no sex trafficking and so on and so on. Men had to serve in the army and learn how to defend their nation, criminals and other scum was dealt with, streets were clean and safe, sports were supported, there was a lot of solidarity and support for people from the lower classes which is in line with the nationalist ideals of national solidarity.

Those systems had nothing to do with "left wing". Historically, capitalism is "left wing". Capitalism was enabled by the liberalism of the French revolution, the original "left wing", while the "ring wing" reactionaries defended a more socialist-like old regime.

I couldn't care less if originally those communist parties were nominally marxist, in praxis they governed their countries like nationalists. Marxism only existed on paper, it was just an excuse to have strong authoritarian regimes.

How the hell did communism destroy Russia when the Soviet Union was a strong superpower that defeated Nazi Germany?

Capitalistic liberalism destroyed Western Europe and flooded it with immigrants as well as fostering individualistic social rights movememnts. Those movements would be persecuted in socialist Eastern Europe. If people would be organizing gay pride parades and similar degenerate garbage they would be beaten up brutally by the police and accused of being bourgeois deviants and conspiring with the enemies of the state or something like this. That's why there was no "gay movement" or similar rights group in Eastern Europe, they would be seen as western agents and deviants and persecuted brutally.

How did communism destroy Eastern Europe when Eastern Europe is ethnically clean now and much less liberal in every aspect? While on the other hand the capitalist Western Europe has been completely devastated.

You can't be a nationalist and support capitalism. Some form of socialism is necessary.

How old are you? you have no idea what your talking about.

You believe in traditionalism? Like when communists destroyed russian churches and burned old russian books.

You have no idea what communism is and what people were behind the communist movement in russian.

I think you are more of a conservative monarchist instead of a communist.

BTW the communists killed the russian monarchs just so you know

You can clearly see a sharp decline from the 50's

Are we looking at the same graph?

Communists like Lenin and Trotsky were largely anti-Christian. I don't support those guys and the original Bolsheviks. But when Stalin came to power he cleaned up and destroyed the old Bolshevik guard in the 30s during his purges, he restored the Orthodox Church to a large extent and ruled the country like a Russian tsar in a lot of ways. He basically used the infrastructure that the communists had to further Russian goals, his doctrine was "socialism in one country". At that point the radical revolutionary aspect of communism was gone, and it transformed itself into a nationalist totalitarian regime. After communists took over the other countries in EE, those countries were ruled in similar fashion.

Obviously I would prefer some religious traditional society over anything "communist", but after the WWII there were only two choices: liberal capitalism or socialist totalitarianism. The latter was far far better and it's clear to see when you compare Western and Eastern Europe. Things like massive immigration, cultural marxism, liberal SJWs, LGBT movement, feminism, consumerism etc. They all originated in the post-WWII capitalist west, we didn't have any contact with that until the 90s.

When it comes to religion, the communists did persecute the Church at some point but so did the Western capitalist democracies, just in more subtle ways. At the end of the day more people remained religious in Eastern Europe than in Western Europe. Countries like Spain and Italy became totally atheistic in the last 5 decades despite not having a communist government.

Sharp decline compared to what? The graph stars in the communist era, you can't compare it to the previous eras.
