I know it's just a baseball game, but part of it is kind of emotional. How many 100 loss seasons we sat through and still rooted for them. I just wish my dad, my uncle, my cousin and a good friend could see this. They never got a chance when they were alive. Lived their whole lives never seeing us actually WIN something.

Actually, historically speaking, the Cubs have a very good overall winning percentage. As of 2014, they rank 6th overall all time winning percentage.

Now, that could also be because they're practically the oldest team in baseball. And newer expansion teams start off slower, because they're newer organizations, but still.
