              The Dodge Challenger Shakedown. Inspired by classic American muscle.

              It's just a concept car at the moment but if we're lucky they will bring something like it to market. The body of a 1971 Challenger with a modern 485 hp engine, a modern suspension system, and Brembo brakes.

                But where was this a decade ago, when retro cars inspired by american muscle actually...started coming out?



                Not saying it won't be a hit, but that's exactly what the "new" "retro" looking camaros, chargers, challengers, and mustangs have been for years now.

                  The new Challengers attempt to have a throwback look and they are ok for the most part.

                  But they are too heavy and too blocky, not as sleek. This concept car remedies that.
