NBA Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo was at the Brussels airport during a deadly terrorist attack early Tuesday.

Mutombo posted two messages on his Facebook page to let everyone know he was not injured. The Atlanta Hawks confirmed that he was in Belgium when the terrorists struck at both the airport and on a subway, killing at least 31 people and wounding scores.

Mutombo, a a devout Baptist, posted one photo showing people walking around outside the airport, accompanied by the message, "God is good. I am in Brussels Airport with this craziness. I am fine." He followed with a selfie and another message, "Thank you everyone. I am safe here. God is good."

The main surviving suspect in the attacks, Najim Laachraoui, has been arrested in Anderlect, according to Belgian media.

So framing it as a problem with Islam helps protect all the Muslims who do not agree with those that commit terror. How?

it's a very complex issue but courting islam clearly hasn't worked for thousands of years and will never work unless these stone age idiots reform their stone age beliefs or stop believing in it completely. it must be challenged.

if islam is called out for what it is then i imagine these dissenting voices become apostates themselves. you do know what the punishment for apostasy is right? we will see just how ugly and unfavorable islam is if that happens en masse.

a few questions. are the migrants in Europe extremist or moderate? raping women because they have no worth, beating and killing non-muslim Europeans, defiling Western society etc. remember these are classified as cultural differences, not terrorist acts (by idiots). are these extremist beliefs or islamic beliefs in your opinion? are these the muslims you don't wish to offend? if they are part of your "99% of peaceful muslims" argument then at what point do you draw the line?

Well someone other than the naive fools in power now is sure needed. They need to take two immediate steps imo; give Europeans the same gun rights we have so they can fight back in some cases, and they need to get control of their borders quick.

That, or they may as well get used to burying their fellow citizens.

We need to close European borders to the unlimited hordes of invaders. Seems some countries are beginning to wake up a little bit, thankfully. Crack down on terrorist cells within the EU, the intelligence services need to do their jobs better in the future, more police on the streets, surveillance, etc. And terrorist sympathizers and their friends need to be stripped of their EU citizenship locked up and/or deported.
