The economy is booming, as we're seeing about 40% higher GDP growth rates than we saw under Obama. Remember, Obama left Trump an economy whose last fiscal quarter saw 1.6% growth. Trump's average so far is around 2.9% growth. That's impressive, except to a superfan.

Secondly, no I don't agree with young men (or anyone) being drafted in to an undeclared war. I don't believe we should be in any undeclared war nor attack any country that hasn't attacked us. This includes the Iraq war and Syria.

GDP is not going down, GDP growth rates are going down, though GDP growth is still higher than the 1.6% growth Trump inherited.

As someone who just bragged they have to "correct" me on things, I'm stunned you made such an ignorant mistake in basic Economics by confusing actual GDP growth with GDP growth rates.

So I guess I should ask why you are kvetching about an economy that's growing faster, despite the recent rate drops you pointed out, under Trump than it grew under Obama?

You need negative GDP growth,2 quarters in a row actually, to be a recession.

I've also noted you, like Bill Maher, are actually rooting for a recession.

Trump riled a lot of career politicians when he stated that he wanted to drain the swamp and impose Congressional term limits...which he continues to push for after elected.

I recently had a terrific meeting with a bipartisan group of freshman lawmakers who feel very strongly in favor of Congressional term limits. I gave them my full support and endorsement for their efforts. #DrainTheSwamp

He has been taking on a huge part of the deep state from the start and Congressional term limits was a big threat to McCain amongst many others ...which is one of the reasons some sought to derail his campaign and why McCain turned over the Steele dossier to the FBI. Trump may have a lot of faults and may not always be the most diplomatic with his words but he has been doing a lot of good things...some of which make him unpopular on both sides of Government.

Be cautious with whatever news source you're getting this info from. No one knows what's in the report. So the report doesn't "recommend" anything. What's actually the case is that the SC's investigation is over, so logically no more indictments will come directly from the SC. Mueller handed off investigations to other departments, and it is possible indictments from those investigations will occur in the future.

If anybody, from any news source, is telling you that this is a "nothing burger," they're just spinning it. The whole of the US is awaiting the report's conclusions.
