This is really something. The dems called Trump racist when he stopped flights from China. The Governors kept states open, Nancy even said all is well come to china town.

Even in March with states knowing what was going on they kept their states open. Governors cry state rights but want to blame Trump for not closing their states? Why was testing delayed? Was this Trumps fault? I dont think so.

Mitigation means taking action to prevent things from getting worse. Not sure why your comparing Europe when I’m talking about the us. It’s possible to have prevent the numbers we have and potentially avoided lockdown and the related hit to the economy.

Im talking about Europe because for one to call it a disaster you have to compare it to how the rest of the world is handling it, and thus far USA is handling it better than the majority of the world.
