The problem with this is Iran doesn't trust Trump to keep his word after pulling out of the original deal. This is where Trump has put himself between a rock and a hard place. He doesn't want war with Iran. He wants to negotiate but his word with Iran is no good.

Trump defended them. He said it must've been a mistake by someone who didn't know what they were doing and he didn't believe the generals would order that. He then said the 150 deaths that would be caused by an air strike is not proportionate with a drone strike that killed no one. I agree with him
