If he does, it will be a battle of attrition on his end.

It sure won't be a debate on the facts by any stretch.

When you finally realize the futility of it and stop posting, he will then say he 'won'.

            No point

This article sums it up pretty well

            https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...=.ba72f219d83f

One of the many issues with Trump is that he makes sweeping statements about things of which he has no knowledge

For example "That should have been all raked out,” he concluded. “You wouldn’t have the fires.”

Most people who live in fire prone regions (Australia is one big tinder box btw and we have deadly fires every year) know that the clearing of debris from on and around structures is important

However, it's just one of many measures which need to be taken (e.g. fire trails, back-burning, fire breaks, etc) and by itself won't prevent much at all

So when Cal Fire says the forest has been mismanaged they're lying?

                • The fee, which had drawn the ire of rural residents throughout the North State, was passed by the state Legislature in 2011 and was intended to pay for fire prevention and education programs. None of the money went to firefighting efforts.

So far, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection has found PG&E’s equipment responsible for 15 of the wildfires that scorched Northern California last year.

California's Deadliest Fires Could Have Been Mitigated By Prevention

When deadly fires were burning last August, Mike Marcucci, the assistant chief of CAL FIRE, California’s main firefighting agency, noted in an interview with the CBS affiliate in San Francisco that, “It’s a daunting task that we’re working with some of our cooperators (i.e. federal and local authorities) to make sure we can get some of those trees out of the way to not add to some of the fuel.” CAL FIRE experts expanded on the problem by blaming decades of policy that discouraged controlled burns to reduce the fuel load in the now-burning forests in the north and hillsides in the south, creating tinderbox conditions.

Even when the permit is done and the weather is right and crews are available, the air might already be too polluted to add more smoke to the mix. Air regulators grant permission for burn days, and it’s hard to get: regional atmospheric conditions mean that smoke from Sierra Nevada forests funnels toward the central valley, where air pollution is consistently bad.
