"I think we have a lot of foes," Trump told CBS News in an interview segment that aired Sunday on "Face the Nation." "I think the European Union is a foe, what they do to us in trade. Now you wouldn't think of the European Union, but they're a foe."
The President added that "Russia is a foe in certain respects. China is a foe economically, certainly they are a foe. But that doesn't mean they're bad. It doesn't mean anything. It means that they are competitive. They want to do well and we want to do well."

So....if the EU trades with us "unfairly", they are a "bad" foe. But if China and Russia trade with us "unfairly" "it doesn't mean they they're bad …..it doesn't mean anything.

These sentences would be laughable had they been spoken by an 8th grader, because they are so illogical and contradictory you would forgive him. But if the President of the United States says these things...it's shocking. Absolutely shocking, ignorant, and stupid.

Understand we have a MIXED economy. We are and have been for many many decades a fine blend of capitalism AND socialism. This blend is allowed to alter itself as the world around us changes making our economy readily adaptable and strong. Those countries that tried to follow a strict economic model of socialism or capitalism failed disastrously.

Why does Trump's personal fascination with Putin have to become America's foreign policy? Reminds me of Bush saying Sadaam tried to kill his father before getting us into an unjust war in Iraq.
