And I'm not challenging you. I've never heard of this guy at all, and I'm especially curious about the part about NK.
Steven Miller writes a lot of Trump's speeches. He's often behind the very hawkish speeches Trump makes.

Steven Miller is a Jew, who has a good relationship apparently with Benjamin Nettanyahu.

In North Korea, the cabal thought they could take some novel actions, not appreciating the full complexity of the situation. North Korea is a geo-political manifestation of the tensions owing to intersecting interests among Great Powers. This is in essence the history of the Korean Peninsula, nestled between China, Russia, Japan; as well as American influence spheres.

They did force China's hand. North Korea can't really do anything without the default support of China, because the country essentially can't exist without China. China could be assisting their weapons program. The US would be aware of that, but wouldn't state so publicly.

China is governed by committee, essentially. Basically, a committee of men meat, and discuss ad-hoc policies. China is not responsible for the present escalation, and is instead reacting. And to be sure, I don't know of their actual role.

The US already deadlocked in a war for control of the Korean Peninsula. China poured millions of troops across the North Korean boarder in order to hold the 38th parallel. China rebuffed the US invasion, at a cost of 400,000 Chinese troop casualties.

There are many proverbs said by economists, one of them is this: The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

This phrase is basically an indictment of idealism, and Steven Miller is definitely a particular type of idealist.

These people do not operate based on real-world facts, but rather on the basis of their perceptions, which are formed by looking at the world through tinted glasses. This is a simple recipe for folly.

    • Thanks.

I'm quite interested how the NK situation will play out.

Trump has been handed a huge mess not at all of his making.

Amazingly, Obama's 'red line' blustering foreign policy wasn't effective at all.

I'm curious how Trump deals with them.

Flynn has been now caught in his web of lies.

That this is a guilty plea, and not an indictment, means it is confirmed that he lied.

He said that A was the case, when the truth was B.

The implications of B being true are that others in the administration are implicated in wrong doing, possibly including Trump.

The perjury conviction carries a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison.

Flynn, and his son, were, it is at least reasonable to speculate, facing the possibility of life in prison, as a result of activities they are implicated in.

The indictment of Flynn is written in such a way as more charges can and may be added.

The objective of the FBI investigation is to arrive at the truth. This means independently confirming information attained from Flynn.

If Flynn lies, he will likely be discovered, and more charges will follow.

If Flynn tells the truth, which he probably has every reason to do, the FBI will seek to independently corroborate the details he provides, so as to secure the sufficient evidence for additional indictments.

            • The White House cancelled a scheduled media event after the news of Flynn's guilty plea. No Twitter response from Trump either.

Mueller is not going to give Flynn a deal based solely on his word. Flynn has to have had solid evidence to get this charge and a deal.

This!!! If Trump pardons him on this charge there are others that can be brought.

Which is why I don't think Trump has anything to worry about unless something was recorded or put into writing. Flynn has a long list of shyt he is trying to deal his way out of. Trumps attorney's will have a field day with him.

                    • CNN is now reporting that the "Senior Trump Official" directing Flynn to make contacts with Russia was Jared Kushner; and that Flynn was directed to seek Russian abdication on a UN vote concerning expanding Israeli settlements.

Russia, Turkey, Israel. This based in trickles of detail.
