I grew up watching and loving Lee films, and the guy is iconic. But he gets destroyed by Tyson.

How do you know? Bruce Lee fought no one, thats not a 'oh his record is rubbish because he just fought bums' he literally fought no one at all.

Not to mention his martial art is useless in MMA, if it were not then it would be one of the dominant martial arts in the UFC. Bruce Lee was a great athlete but when anyone says 'Bruce Lee would've beaten this guy or that guy' they aren't even able to use actual fights to back this up.

Additionally, Bruce Lee never trained ground game outside of a few sessions with Gene Lebell. Look at his heavy bag footage, its the same stance that a single leg takedown would work wonders against. With no ground game you would get mauled absolutely hammered in the UFC, you might win one or two odd ones here or there but at the top level you would get destroyed.

Bruce Lee was a martial arts pioneer, probably a good stand up fighter, a great athlete but there is absolutely no evidence. None whatsoever that he would have made a close to top level boxer, MMA fighter or even street fighter.
