As fascinating as space travel is, its a lot of wasted money. Round trip to Mars would cost over four billion dollars. That's the farthest humans would have traveled and that's not even close to being anywhere near out of the solar system, much less anywhere near the ends of the Universe. Because technically there is no end, as it is still expanding since the Big Bang. The size of the Universe is scary.

I think they'll create something that allows people to go on living virtually forever, probably some kind of robotic body or at the very least a Stephen Hawking kind of existence.

Space exploration is feasible within the next 100 years but the lack of significant advances since the moon landing suggest it may not happen. It'll take a lot of investment and I think the US, China, EU and everyone else will probably focus more upon projects that have a higher chance of making a profit.

Invisibility, or something very close to it, seems possible. But as amazing as that would be I think it will be surpassed by something else the 21st century throws up.

Very hard to predict though. Scientific breakthroughs may come about as a result of private companies seeking larger profits, which would be a real shame.

US gives religious organizations ~$74 billion a year in tax exemptions, just for believing in what they believe

So we can make 37 round trips a year with that

                    Still a waste of money.
