When your back up PG (Blake) is a scrub who can't score along with the return of other inept bench players (Eubanks) it doesn't matter who the cook is. This is not Brown's fault. The Lakers bench still sucks right now and they can't win it all with only 5 or 6 reliable players. The only strong bench player right now is Jordan Hill. Jamison and Meek's could break out soon but beyond that the pickings are slim. If things don't improve with the back up's it's going to be a disappointing season.

the starting lineup is actually where coaching has the least affect.

it's up to the coach which/when bench players come in.

this is the nba. everyone can play. especially when little is asked for and minutes are limited.

The bench can't score consistency or play any defense .There's not a coach in the league that can change that . Their bench sucks and it's that simple .

most of these bench guys showed they were good players BEFORE they ever even made it to the lakers.

it's how you use your bench.

like i said, everyone in the nba can play. if you can make a team, you can contribute.

bench is on coaching, simple as that.

you have 10 players on your bench. you should be able to get 3-4 in situations where they can contribute.



and enough crying about not getting good bench players. lakers are $40 million over the salary cap. all lakers can do is re-sign current lakers or sign minimum players.
