I guarantee you if the Lebron Jamses, and Allen Iversons of the world were playing soccer ata younger age, and wanted to earn much less money in soccer they would have been kicking ass.

Indeed they would. Michael Phelps would probably too.

The reason for this is because of athletic ability and mentality.
If a top notch athlete in any athletic sport would have trained something else for the same amount of time, they would be among the top in that sport too; unless of certain physical aspects would make it impossible of course.

Take away the balls and have them do other things and it is clear that Iverson is far more athletic, it isn;t even close. Why is it that basketball players can compete in an array of different sports? Probably because they are very athletic.

Mentality and competition taught at a young age.

Thats kind of how I feel. From the moment of our birth it seems like our fathers first thing is to teach his son to be number 1 and not back down from anything. For whatever reason Americans are very competitive and being number one is something they obsess over.

Shaq is over 7 feet tall. There aren't many other sports he could play. However, guards and forwards are another story.
