You phaggots haven't been to a football match till you been to one with fans making noise.

And no. The Emirates has no noise.

I'll be going to my third Libertadores game this year.

I expect it to be louder than any European game any of you been to.

B*tch please. You think going to a game with atmosphere makes you a hardcore fan?

Try going to a game with zero atmosphere. On a crappy cold wet saturday when all youve got to watch is fooking Reading vs some rubbish Championship team. Thats passion.

Hell and I;ve had it easy. My dad used to go watch them in the 3rd division at Elm Park.

edit: not that ive been for years. Moved away from the Ding

        LOL..this is true.

As a teen I would go to Brentford games when Chelsea weren't playing. Watching football at the level is different. Andy Scott was banging in goals for fun at the time - and then one week Brentford sold him for £75,000 to Oxford.

        lol.

I love going to games but for some reason since I have moved to Manchester and get to hardly any I find myself getting more upset with Chelsea results when I have to stream them on a choppy stream that gives in every 5 minutes.

I have noticed that fans that don't go to games are usually more mental. I used to post on a Chelsea forum and it would be the fans based in New Delhi that would be suicidal if we lost a game.

I suppose when you go to a game you have a few pints - something to eat and socialise a bit. If you are JUST watching a game and by yourself it seems to wind you up a bit more.

I am lucky though that there is always a way to watch Chelsea games. If you moved somewhere - it would be really hard to follow Colchester wouldn't it? That's the problem with proper football!
Yeah it was 3-1, we were in yellow that day.

          I think I remember Chelsea's team:

          --------------Cudicini--------------------

          P Ferreira - Huth - Carvalho - G Johnson

          ------ Diarra - Essien - Maniche---------

          ---Wright-Phillips - Drogba - Duff--------

Joe Cole and Lampard came on at half time and Crespo also came on mid second half.

          Great day out.

I wouldn't be able to watch any of the matches but would go to away games nearby if I moved in the UK. But yeah, it would be frustrating but I much preferred our old ground Layer Road compared to our new stadium.

Away games are always better anyway. Win, lose or draw you have a great day out (unless Derby games) and we tend to stay over in towns and sample the nightlife.

Being a supporter of a team that wins a lot must make defeats a lot harder to take I imagine. I am used to defeats so when it happens it does not ruin my night..

I went to a Cardiff City open day in about 1997 and got all the players autographs including Earnshaw etc.

I scored a pen v one of your senior keepers and all the bigger kids laughed at him and I got interviewed by a local paper.

            True story.

              • Don't know why Chelsea's postcode is SW when it's quite clearly closer to Central London.

Thank you. Can't believe it was even suggested that Chelsea was in SW London.
