This is what happens when a good team plays once a week.

Liverpool got far too much credit for their run. They played two games in a week even if it was a reserve side and they end up getting slapped up by Swansea at their own gaff and dropped points against dross like Sunderland over Christmas. It is the interruption to training and recovery that a few games in a week gives.

Chelsea are just doing what they should do. That and they are benefitting from being embarrassing last season. They are rebuilding reputations.

Liverpool on the other hand don't have the same quality.
