His manager, Terry Francona, was NOT happy about it and was NOT amused.

I love jomboy lol. He makes the best mlb highlights.

That was bad on Bauer. He has to keep it together. He won’t be the first pitcher to get blown out like that and won’t be the last. Tanaka of the Yankees allowed 12 runs in 3.1 innings to none other than the Red Sox, their rivals, on Thursday.

The sun is no joke. I know you said “pro”...but the Sun doesn’t discriminate any level. I’ve lost balls in the sun back when I used to play. You just lose it and pretty much have no chance once you lose it in the sun like that. It’s happened plenty of times in the MLB.

Used to rarely happen. I like that there's more errors in MLB now. Makes it more like little league. Is it true they're not allowed to run into the catcher anymore at home plate?

It's true. It's been like that for years now, ever since Buster Posey was out for the season at a collision at home plate. You also can't hard slide into the 2nd baseman and break up double plays.

Then how are you supposed to avoid being tagged out? That's complete bullshlt and why I don't watch baseball anymore. Also why I don't watch basketball, everything's a foul now, not like when the game was allowed to be physical. They're trying to ruin football too.

The way MLB remedied this was that the catcher cannot block homeplate, his entire body has to be off the plate. Guys can still score from 3rd or be tagged out, it's just the home plate collisions are gone now.
