I bet most of those in the "too soon to tell" category will get in.

      Good article!
OK - here's a question. Who of "the too soon to tell" class is 1/2 wins away from getting in?
I really think Dubois will beat Usyk this time (which to be fair Eric said).
Also Nakatani will likely fight Inoue in 2 fghts. Whether he can win might depend on how work down Inoue is from his M.A fight.
I don't see Bam moving up to 118 just yet.
I think Tank will get in on the fame component and if he beats Roach and gets one more win. He will be praying that Zepeda beats Shakur as Zepeda is a more winnable fight and unify.
Conversely - Shakur if he eats Zepeda and Tank is IN in a big way.
Won't happen but if Zepeda beat Stephenson and Tank he'd be in.

How is Wilder in the hall of fame? I can name 10 guys in his own era with better resumes:usyk, Joshua, Fury, Ruiz, Parker, Whyte, povetkib, Dubois, joyce, zhang, and probably kabayel. I got him 12th. 12 hall of famers? Wow what a strong era

          Oh yeah tank? Lmao.

Teraji is 100 percent a hall of famer. Guys like teofimo and yabuki are very close because they have big wins unlike some with lame title defenses like wilder. Artur grigorian had 17 defenses put him in! Omar narvaez had 27 across 2 divisions put him in!

Bivol and Beterbiev will both get in. Their resumes are fine for this era, they split a very competitive series and each had undisputed, Beterbiev had that amazing KO streak and Bivol beat Canelo going away.

Oh... and the Boxing Hall of Fame requires fighters get in every year as opposed to how every other HOF does it, so any weak year these two will stand out just fine.

Such is the Boxing Hall of Fame. No, Wilder should not get in. His resume is losses to his best competition and his wins are propped up by Luis Ortiz of all people. But you would probably win more money betting he does get in than he won't.

Ryan Garcia: You’d think a 26 year old like Garcia would land in the “Too soon to tell” section, but we have a pretty clear idea already of what “KingRy” is. And what he is leans heavily into what the “F” in “IBHOF” stands for — and history says not to be 100 per cent sure that fame alone won’t get a boxer the votes he needs.
Yeah we have an idea of what KingRy is, a basketcase and a drug cheat. Funny how Raskin dings Teofimo for being unpredictable and inconsistent when he pugilistically dismantled and danced around Barboza, meanwhile Garcia put in the worst performance of his career and was seen crying about it.
