  • Amir Khan...the combination of his blistering handspeed and glass chin are difficult to beat!

Sorry I thought you said that Povetkin beat Hrgovic in the amateurs...my bad. I just watched some amateur footage of Hrgovic at the Olympics and can see why you were so high on him as he did look VERY impressive. However, that was 8 years ago and he's now 32yo and has fought nobody bar Zhang who he...

Dr. Z Freddie Roach (like the majority of fans) believes that Hrgovic got SONNED by old man Zhang ...

I thought you said that Povetkin beat Hrgovic in the amateurs so what makes you think he wouldn't struggle with him in the pro's? Regardless, Joshua didn't go down and knocked him spark out. As for Parker, he's beaten Wilder & Zhang (much more convincingly than Hrgovic) in back to back fights and...

Lol I know you're pretty high on Hrgovic but saying that he'd beat Joshua is just plain silly. After all, Usyk is the ONLY guy who has Joshua's number (he avenged the Ruiz loss) and the second fight was a SD defeat meaning that one judge scored the fight for the Brit. Therefore, I've no doubt that he'd...

Thanks for the detailed reply Z...firstly, I wasn't a member of the other boxing forum so can't comment. However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict that an Olympic Gold medallist like Klitschko would go on to become world champion (especially since he won numerous Gold/Silver medals in other...

Dr. Z Don_Jah Bahahahaha! You gave me enough **** for zero Indian boxer's qualifying for the 2024 Olympics yet despite hundreds of years pedigree in the sport in addition to world class sporting infrastructure, funding and coaching (unlike India), only 3 American boxer's qualified for Paris (3 Black...

Dr. Z This requires your IMMEDIATE attention…no White American boxer’s or basketball players representing America at the upcoming Olympics. Any thoughts?!?

I’ll respond to your other detailed post when I get some time later tonight....

  • Also, interesting to note that Haney received a similar beatdown as Spence did against Crawford with a similar number of knockdowns. Only difference being Derrick James WASN’T on the receiving end this time. Also, after the fight he said that it would’ve been better for Haney’s career...

  • Taking a point away from Ryan for hitting after the referee separated them but NOT taking one away from Devin for excessive clinching was disgraceful. If not for this, Ryan wouldn’t probably stopped him in round 7 and saved Haney’s career in the long run.

  • I actually wish that Ryan had fought like this against Tank…fully hydrated and throwing a multitude of shots with BOTH hands instead of just trying to land the left hook. He was doing that in the early rounds which Haney saw a mile off. I don’t think he would’ve beaten Tank, but it...

  • Disagree…Kambosos beat a previously undefeated Teofimo and Haney handled him with ease TWICE. He also had a close fight with Lomachenko which I thought he WON. However, after Linares wobbled him badly during their fight, I always thought he’d lose to a top puncher like Tank/Ryan but doubted...

  • Congrats Ryan…I never doubted your talent which I ALWAYS said was world champion material but thought you’d lose this fight because of all the pre-fight antics as you seemed unstable, unfocused and lacked professionalism whereas Haney is the complete opposite.

    Thanks for proving...

  • Agreed…I originally wanted Ryan to win but he’s been so unstable and unprofessional throughout the whole build up that I’m actually rooting for Devin. In fact, I wouldn’t put it past him to do something OUTRAGEOUS like the Tyson ear bite if things don’t go his way....
