Dubois has some quality but he's really not a gritty fighter. He'll need to land some bombs early or else he'll get outboxed and stopped late.

Am expecting James to win in court, or more likely accept a big settlement....

Fight has apparently been moved to the August LA card. A shame the WBA are bringing back their interim/regular belt for it. We're finally getting undisputed at the 175 and straight away WBC+WBA create interim belts for Benavidez and Morrell, who haven't even fought at the weight to be due a shot there....

Ennis should believe that, boxers are supposed to be confident. But on paper he's achieved less than Crawford's next opponent, who just won a belt vs a top 10 opponent.

Not a surprise as we're in an era where we increasingly ignore/misrepresent science....1bad65 likes this.

It works well up to a certain level. Young kids today are less disciplined and have less respect than ever before. So their father may be the only person who can really get them to focus, train, eat right etc. Doesn't matter how great a trainer is if the fighter won't listen. Teo would be a better fighter...

Part of it is that back then, May and Pac had so many fans. Most of them were new to the sport and dumb, and they flooded the forum with bad threads, but it made for a lot of activity. No current boxer is on that level....dan-b likes this.

Wouldn't be surprised if he beat Fundora. Spence might take a couple of rounds to get used to the height but it's a good style match-up for him. He'd land a lot of flush shots.

The Martin fight won't be big money but he's a top 10 guy but not a big puncher, so ideal choice for Haney. After that he should target Teo, who seems to have issues with guys who use a lot of movement. Maybe Haney gets knocked out there but that would be the risk vs any elite puncher.

It's like Al Haymon was having a garage sale of all the shit he didn't want anymore, and the guy organising this undercard walked by and said "I'll take everything".Left Hook Louie likes this.

It will either look like Canelo-Kirkland or Canelo-Angulo depending on how aggressive Munguia is and how well he can take Canelo's punches.

WBO wanting their slice of the Saudi pie.
So if Crawford wins, Fundora has to face him next or be stripped of a belt. But also if Crawford wins, he has to defend against Charlo next or be stripped of a different belt. Happy this fight is happening but imagine having to explain all of this...

Would like to see Ball with somebody like Robert Garcia. He has a lot of the right qualities but could do with being that 10% smarter in there, more lateral movement and picking his punches a bit differently.

I understand why people keep bringing this fight up, as it was such a natural one to make and the way Canelo ducked was so blatant and has lasted for years. But really it's done now. Benavidez has moved to a different division, fight won't happen.
I concede there's a small chance the fight...

Him and Teo are both inconsistent hotheads, best they fight now before one of them takes an L or goes on a fake retirement....

Credit to Derrick James. Had to deal with a lot of critics after Spence and Charlo lost. Had to deal with a lot of BS during this promotion. But just got on with it and helped his fighter get the W.

Credit to Garcia for proving so many of us wrong. Coming in overweight does take something away from it though. A lot of fights might have turned out differently if one guy was allowed an extra 3lbs.
