You must be young. You should take care of that lower back. It will come back to haunt you. Remember that anytime one gets surgery, they are cutting across nerves, tendons, blood vessels, etc. that can never be reconnected microscopically the way they were to begin with, meaning the blood supply, neural stimulation, and structural integrity of the back are interrupted....permanently. Michael Jackson is a good visible example of too much surgery gone bad. I am 53 and the one thing I most regret is allowing them to perform open surgery on my knee back in '82. It didn't help any more than if I had just managed it conservatively, and it has deteriorated progressively over the last 20+ years in spite of the surgery. Now the only thing that will impair a person more than a bad wheel (or wheels) is a back, which is the core of the body's strength. I'm not putting you down. Everybody makes mistakes when young. We believe we are invincible, since everything seems to recover. But it don't last too long. By the age of 40, little injuries become nagging, and by the age of 50, nagging injuries become chronic disability. Just for anyone reading this, young and strong as you are, you may wake up one day like I did and find you are not a spring chicken anymore. Then it comes down to managing what you've got left. It's better and easier to exercise prevention and take care of yourself which is, after all, what we are all trying to do, no? Get into good shape and stay there? Overtraining or poor training habits let's the devil into your body, so to speak.

in that picture i was 190 and that was a little before my back surgery. im still about the same, but around 195 and a little less lean

i was supposed to have a fight too but my surgery stopped me. i was supposed to fight at 188 though
