Maybe I just didn't have a good feel to mine. I still love the Pro Grants, 10oz. They are the best fit you can buy.

pro fight gloves can also be used for heavybag/mitts?

so they aren't just for professional bouts only.. cool.

Not at all! I have a pair of Everlast red 10oz. for the mitts. They feel great and the look of them gets everyone wanting to try them on. They look so classic. The Grants feel the best, except the constant logo questions. People always's want to know what that logo is and some think it's corny. I don't like it either but the gloves, like I said, feel the best on the heavybag and offer the best hand comfort.

what's the difference between the grant super power bag gloves and the grant pro fight gloves for hitting the heavy bag?

comfort difference, hand protection difference, weight difference? (pro being 8 oz. or 10 oz., super power bag gloves being 12 oz.)

the super power bag gloves are more expensive, but shouldn't it provide better hand protection for hitting the heavybag?

Yeah better protection being the reason why they are large then the pro boxing gloves.

I LOOOOOVE my Grants. Currently the only gloves i like better are my brown, 18oz Classics (used to be Zepol) straight from Mexico. Other than the Classics, Grants fit me better than anything else out there, especially Reyes which never felt right (tried multiple pairs).

I've got a pair of the 16oz lace ups and a pair of the 10oz super bag gloves with velcro.

They've held up really well in my opinion - been using the super bag gloves almost daily this summer and aside from a slight lifting of the edge of the velcro they're mint.

10 ounces of padding can take some getting used to if you regularly use heavier gloves; gotta watch out for bruised & cut knuckles but your punching form & accuracy should improve drastically.

I would say definitely worth the money; especially if you don't already have a favorite.

the grant super power bag gloves, come in "regular" and "large".
                    http://www.ringside.com/detail.aspx?ID=25853

does that mean regular is 10 oz. and large is 12 oz.?

i think i'll go with the large/12 oz.

by the way, anyone know what's up with www.grantboxing.com ?

it hasnt worked in 2 days. i remember seeing custom colors that you can choose for gloves, but cost more. im interested in that.
