I have always been honest with me being down. I have no shame in that because the only way you can go down is by stepping up and throwing. You have yet to do this Exige. I was down a toatal of 3 times in my amatuer/professional career, thats around 67 fights. Step up enough times against enough tough fighters and it is bound to happen.

You can rip what you would like Exige, but you have even yet to see even 1 second of an actual fight. So until then and even well after you will just be another novice who claimed to be able to beat a schooled professional. I have paid my dues with my blood and sweat, always pushing to the extreme. You've played in a gym so far, thats all. Because if you never fight then you have actually learned little at all.

      Rockin'

the other day I was sparring and I was off focus for some reason anyway I went to slip a jab and insted of slipping to the outside(the right side of his body), I slipped into his inside of his body leaving me in the middle, anyway i knew he was goona throw a right seeing tho im right infront of his body, So I went to move out of the way and something was funny with my feet, I went to push of my right foot so i can get out of the way AND BAM I CROSSED MY FEET AND he jabed me with the weakest tap and I fell down. It was embarassing

You ever try going to the inside of a slipped jab and throwing a left hook? Or an left uppercut? Try that ****.

Knocked to my knees twice in sparring, both times by a left hook to the liver. Both times from the same guy and pretty much, both times I wouldn't have been able to get up in time -- or if I had, I'm certain the ref would've flunked me after the standing 8.

I've only had two fights so far, though. We'll see what next year holds.

Nearly two years into this sport, sparring 2-3 times a week, I have yet to be hit in the head or even flush in the face with enough force to make me stop swinging. That liver punch, though. Yow. I have brought guys far larger than me down by getting in tight and digging a short left hook or shovelhook (southpaw) to the body, as well. I'm not real bright but I learn good after getting my ass kicked a few times.

I have been KO'd outside the ring, BTW.

I've been down against levan easley... he's a Pro that trains or used to train at my gym in gainesville... (not sure after his last fight this weekend)

He's on a 6 fight losing streak...35 years old... He just has so much more experience.. he sees openings quick on an AM fighter.

He hits hard and likes to slug... caught me in the ribs i had to take a knee they ended up being bruised a few months ago. stopped me from fighting.

You think this was so bad? I know im not on a Pro level just yet... but the dude is on a 6 fight losing streak... that bothers me alot..ALOT.

Even though my trainer just tells me that he's more experienced and all this other stuff.

I wouldn't be bothered. Just respect the game. Even a losing pro who's 35 should beat up a good amateur ten to fifteen years younger nine times out of ten. That only stands to reason

my 4th fight i caught a left hook to the jaw as my head was turning cuz i was tryin to pivot and i turned right into the hook and went down like a bag of bricks. i got up at 9 but was very very stumbly and the ref waived it off. naturally i protested it...... but it was the right move cuz i woulda been KOd if i went on...
