Dude do you ever watch strongman contests? most (actually i've never seen a black dude in one) of those guys are white and some can bench press about 800lbs or more, and deadlift ****ing cars.. lol

when it comes to pure strength I thin white people are stronger but when it comes to size of the muscle blacks have the upper hand...or really? this is ****** actually why argue over something as meaningles as this?

blacks have more explosive power, while whites have better muscle endurance. That's why blacks are so fast and explosive with punches and sprints while whites dominate power lifting

            Powerlifting uses no endurane

There's really isn't a big difference in professional sports between black and white people, they're all beasts.

In average everyday life, the black person is stronger/bigger/faster than the white guy.

But you guys are still not considering, asians, middle easterns, hispanics, etc.

Olympic Lifting is ruled and always will be ruled by mostly Europeons and some Middle Easterns. While powerlifting is always gonna be ruled by White Americans.

i think it's likely that blacks are faster/have more stamina while whites have more strength due to surroundings

Alright, it is well known that Tyson was a (big kid) weighing in at 200 as a thirteen year old. But It is also well known that Cus, Teddy n co. used weight training as a part of strenth and conditioning. As do most trainers. Not in the same way as say a body builder would. You have to work your core body mass. But yes of course He and most other hard hitting heavyweights did lift weights as part of there workout.

Yeah...but Tyson didn't. I was watching a documentary of Tyson and it showed him shadowboxing and then talking to the guy...I was like, wow, he's fast for 17-18...Later on the bottom it said Tyson at 15. This guy was so freakin thick for 15. Again...genetics...

I agree, and for a good reason. Lifting weights does limit speed of contraction in the muscles. I think the subject is going in too many directions. No Cus wouldn't have let his fighters use weights like a football player, body builder or a back yard tough guy. A good trainer wouldn't. Why slow the guy down. excessive muscle means you need more oxygen to feed it. But I have seen Mike Tyson use weights to develope his strength and conditioning. And the gym in Arizona where he trained for a couple of fights is big on using weights to improve certain areas of a fighers body. Bench press. no. squats, lunges shoulder work. Yes The question wasn't how did he use them it was weather or not he did. The answere is Yes.

**** yeah any professional athlete white, black, red, yellow, or brown has to have that "g" code to be that special person that they are. But resistance training builds muscle mass. Tyson's muscle mass is not purely genetic. nor is it due entirely to Streinuous exercize like the heavy bag. I promise you He used weights to some degree. I am from Memphis Tn when he faught Lenox Lewis, The gen public could pay to attend some of the fighters workouts. He did use weight machines. In phoenix, He used weights. Maybe he did too much in the later part of his career. Maybe thats where some of his speed went. But the fact is He used them.
