How to lose weight

Try intermittent fasting. That helped me & quite a few folks I know of drop some extra lbs.
Paleo is a popular choice these days to so that might be worth looking into although I can't up or down vote that personally as I've not been able to do it for very long. I just can't hang with a heavy meat type diet, or a heavy veggie diet which I've tried before too. I need to mix things up a lil.Comment

Hey guys, stopped working out this january because of an injury, i have now recovered from it, and waiting for my gym to reopen again. Meanwhile i have gained 10 kg, so i want to cut down, and then put on some muscle so i am around 80 kg off season, im around 86 now. Im currently running 3 times a week, and then doing calisthenics after. Should i count calories, or should i just stick to eating 3 meals a day, only eat one plate of food each meal?
Figure out your maintenance calories
- This is how much calories you need to eat in a day so that you dont lose weight or put any weight on
Once you figure out your maintenance, subtract "X" amount of calories depending on how much you want to lose ex. 3500 calories = 1lb so if you want to lose 1lb a week, you divided 3500 (calories) by 7 (days) which gives you 500 aka "X", you need to subject 500 calories a day from your maintenance calories so that you can lose 1lb a week.
Its that easy, what you eat don't matter, macros don't matter, nothing matters except that. You can eat cake and ice cream as long as you are in a deficit you are still going to lose weight. (deficit is any amount lower than your maintenance calories, any deficit you are going to lose weight the amount the deficit is aka "X" is what determines how much you are going to lose)Last edited by TheBoxGod; 12-29-2020, 07:54 PM.Comment
