LOL Funny thread. I'm with Smokin. Those numbers are way out of proportion, strength-wise. 50 lb one-arm curls, and 180 bench press don't equal out. Unless your biceps are twice the size of your triceps, which is opposite how they should be. I do 40 lb one-arm curls, isolated (not standing and cheating/leaning) and that's a fairly hard set, and I rep with 245 on the bench.
Rarely do I see anyone doing one-arm curls with 50s. If so, it's a big dude who can bench a HELL of a lot more than 180. So yeah, something's out of whack. Or he's doing one cheat curl with a 50 lb dumbell... hehe, maybe he's talking about that.
Exactly. A buddy of mine has been working out for 2 years and he has the above type of numbers. He's got a 195 bench and he can't ****in' lift 50 with one arm. It's a bunch of bull**** to say you have an 180 lb bench and a 50 lb curl.
I can curl 50lbs with one arm but it's my max (I started lifting when I was 14). My friend Albert can curl 65lbs with one arm he's 5'10 15, and weighs around 165. My forearms are pretty big, I'd say they're around 13 inches around or they might be bigger. I've got big muscles, but I'm just not that strong for some reason.
By the way what's a cheat curl? I don't swing my arms or anything, I keep them straight. Go ahead and don't beleive me if you don't want to but that's your problem, I don't have a video camera but my freind Kevin does so I'll try to borrow his cellphone. Right now I was trying to do 50lbs but I couldn't for some reason, I was only able to do 43lbs.
My friend kevin is skinny as hell but he can curl 40lbs.

well, I'm done arguing over this. I know what I can do and I see all sorts of people who are strong in one area and weak in others. anything is possible in the weight room if you are focused and dedicated. besides...I'm pretty quick for my size...I hit the bag regularly and play pick up hoops whenever I can on top of my weight lifting. lol...6'0', 175...thats alright if you like to play tennis, but I don't LIKE it as you mentioned. I'll leave you alone smokin...I rarely post anymore anyhow.

I can only bench 150 - 160 and curl 40's. U know nothing about weightlifting man.
