My pops had a whip, and a belt... keep me on the straight and narrow..
Plenty of cultures figured out whip technology.
But some people still want reparations for never being whipped or mistreated..
You want to warm up properly to prevent injury, stretching does not prevent injury, its the actual warming up of the muscles that prevent injuries.
A proper warm up is all you need. If you are concerned about a particular issue than I suggest you look up some rehab exercises for that issue to properly strengthen it for whatever you are trying to achieve, this will be your best route to take to truly prevent injuries (which are never 100% preventable but can be mitigated with proper warming up and specific targeted rehab exercises)
