For starters, it's not a couple of days. I've been out for about two weeks. Also, I should've mentioned, I do run. 4 miles, on trails by my work, 5 days a week. I can now cover those 4 miles in just over half an hour. Every morning I climb stairs for about an hour. And I'm in the weightlifting gym 3 nights -- and I mean NIGHTS, like 9 or 10 PM -- per week doing squats, cleans, and deadlifts and skipping rope between sets. But it's not the same as going full-out for 90-120 minutes. I need to train harder until my work situation un****s itself and I can get back to the gym regularly. Hopefully not more than another 3-4 weeks.

I work way harder in the boxing gym than I do outside of it, I guess. I hit my boxing gym at 115%; I'm a power puncher and I use a peekaboo defense that takes a hell of a lot of energy: lots of weaving and dodging, and constant movement. Comparatively, I half-ass my roadwork; I thought my roadwork and calisthenics were enough but I'm going to have to ramp up the intensity. A lot.
