    Keto & Cardio

Amidst the corona outbreak, no gym access for me...

So I’m going to engage in a ketogenic diet and cardio to see if I can at least drop a good 20-25 lbs. by May.

Anybody here try keto diet before? Or a combo of both?

    Feedback would be appreciated.

It will work, part of what is going to happen is because you wont be having much carbs, youll loose alot of water/ carb weight so you might loose alot then gain alot back when you go off the diet. I guess my recommendation would be make sure your at a caloric deficit and not just trusting the scale. I can "loose" 10 lbs temporarily just cutting out carbs, then gain it back in a day or 2 of carbs. This is just my experience I've done it alot but am not an educated expert

Given that most food is being hoarded at supermarkets, you may lose weight quicker than you think.

My strategy was to just focus on losing weight/mass in general. Muscle and fat.

I been lifting for a few years now and I’ve accumulated much more mass than desirable in both muscle and fat.

So I’m gonna slim back down to my natural weight of 140-145, since I’m a small frame 5’8” dude. And then I will incorporate lifting again but mos def. not bodybuilder style.

And I’ll start eating carbs again but only like one time a day, probably for my breakfast.

Have you looked at the side effects of a keto diet? It just seems like a really unhealthy way to lose weight.
