  • Resistance Bands for Speed and Endurance

I was thinking about buying resistance bands for improving speed and endurance. That ones, you but behind your back/shoulders and do punching movements for several seconds or minutes.

Does anybody have any experience with those?
I'm wondering how to adjust their sizes. A 5.5 feet boxer needs a different size than a 6.5 feet boxer.

PS: Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to post pictures as a newly registered user.

I use them all the time, especially to stretch out my muscles.

Yes they work well. I'm pretty sure you can test them out before buying them. At least that's what I did before buying.

I sneak them out of the boxes and test them.

I use them regularly, for overall fitness. The unique way they resist builds supportive strength. You don't need a ton of resistance for them to be effective. Plus, they tend to be very safe so you can use them while nursing an injury.

Don't waste your time punching with them. Punching power comes from technique. Build a strong, BALANCED body, and then rely on your technique to deliver that strength into the punch.

They seem to last forever too. I've been using the same ones for a few years.
