I'm still going today but the thing is that there's no water. All the water fountains are broke and the water bottles by the corners are usually empty.

I'll go but I'm gonna have to take everything light.

Yeah, no kidding. Go to the grocery store and buy a gallon of drinking water. Should cost about 89 cents.

        Hydrate or die.

LOL guess what happened. I ended up going to the gym and the trainer put a sign on the door saying that the gym's closed for a few days because of the heat.

Whenever it gets too hot or cold, he get's his son (who's a pro) to stay there and train while he leaves, lol.

          O well.

Well there's a difference between saying "should I suck it up and put myself in a situation detrimental to my health," and "should I sit on my ass or do something?" I wouldn't go train in a furnace at 100% with no water, but you can still run, shadowbox, work on mechanics, to other exercises at home or wherever you can find the space. Go to the gym, no, but take a break? nah.

Keep it light, but don't cutback on your training. Depending on where you are, it may be hot as hell when you fight.

I fought amatuer fights in Mexico. Once in a botana (amatuer prelim for a pro card)in a bullring in 100+ degree heat. Training in a gym in West Texas with no air conditioning had a lot to do with winning that one.

What will you do when you box at an outdoor show? The suns beating down on you and its 98 degrees. Will you tell your opponent that youll box him tomorrow if its cooler out? **** no, youll step up and do what you got to do. Heat is a factor that you will just have to deal with some times.

At Galaxy we would always turn the thermostat all the way up and start our warring. I would drop 5-7% of my weight from sweating it out. Comfort is in the mind, learn to deal with it. Just be sure that your plenty hydrated before you go and that you rehydrate when you leave and youll be fine.
