    Why not simply increase the intensity of your workout and cut out intervals? Surely that means your body would naturally struggle for more oxygen. Seems like a cheaper and more effective way of training.

      The title of the thread is wrong but since it was already a thread about essentially the same product, I went with it. Yes, there is some slight oxygen desaturation as is represented in the test data but the main benefit is that your lungs have to physically pull harder to fill. They get stronger just like your arms and legs get stronger, through resistance training.

      It is not about the simulation of altitude, the same volume of air still produces the same oxygenation of your blood. The difference is physical effort to get that volume.
