i'm just wondering if there are better gloves in this price range, or for less.

Haha dang thinking about going for the flagship model hey? I've only used the RB2 and am so green my opinion shouldn't count for shyte but figured a friendly non-pushy suggestion couldn't hurt. Glad you were already considering them though, I think they're a great company and Russ Anber truly seems to care about boxing.

By all means though keep shopping around and fielding suggestions. Just don't get too locked into FOBO (fear of better options...yeah I read some clickbait article the other day, I know I know....)

Rival RB1 bag gloves are good for your price range.

Hayabusa gloves have been the best investment I've made in gloves so far. Kinda pricey but they have soild protection
