How Do You Take Care of Your Gloves?

I never really had to think about this since I didn't have my own pair... Now I do and I'm kind of OCD about clean things.

    Any tips on upkeep?

How do you clean your gloves?

How often do you buy new gloves? Assuming they're like running shoes, with enough usage you need to replace them?

I did buy something off Amazon that's used to deodorize and absorb moisture from the inside of the gloves. I've been near some of the guys gloves and it makes me cringe so bad at the smell of one or two of the guys gloves... I just cannot lol.

#1, make sure they dry out, every time. The smell comes from bacteria when sweat gets trapped in there for hours. I use a sports equipment sanitizer spray and then hang the gloves on my homemade glove rack to dry. I sweat like crazy when training but my gloves have zero smell after a couple years.

On the outside, I'll use leather cleaner on my white Winnings periodically to keep them looking clean but I wouldn't bother for any other color.

Is it safe to use the spray often? I thought about using Clorox wipes inside, but figured it might eat up my gloves on the inside. Is the sports sanitizer safer? Wonder if I could use a yoga mat type of spray? Less chemicals?

Can you actually "wash" your gloves once in awhile, like submerge it in water with soap?

AT LEAST YOU CARE ABOUT THE SMELL LOL! I've gagged at the smell of some gloves. It was so bad... but I think the guys got too used to it that it didn't bother them. I couldn't workout near them. It was too much for me lol. Call me a wimp, but body odor, I can't deal with, that retched rank sour smell, just no.

Toss them on the kitchen floor in a particular spot in front of the window where the sunlight will shine of them for a good portion of the day, pick them up off the floor after I get home from work and go to the gym. Rinse repeat.

You would also benefit by spraying an antiseptic in to each glove. . …..Rockin'
