Yeah, that's why there's no advatage of using it weeks before a fight.

I don't loose weight easy and generally look like crap no matter what I do, but I definitely agree with you on the gym. I'm in a similar situation up here in Fort Worth, eventho it's a little less hot.

I'm pretty gross. I sweat like crazy, even without sweatsuits. In about 1/2 hours of training I go through at least 2 shirts.

That's why I said weigh in. Of course not directly before a fight. After the weigh in, it's good to has lots of carbs the night before.

I loved sweating in the gym, the beads of sweat rollinbg everywhere upon my body. At Galaxy, the first thing that was done when the gym opened was to turn up the thermostat. James was Middleweight champ at the time and always liked the gym hot, very hot to help with his constant weight battles. I learned to love it in time, warring it out in extreme heat. One thing to think about, if you are prepared and used to fighting in the extreme heat it will help. You will run acrossed summer time shows where the ring is set up directly beneath the swealtering summers sun. Its an experience the first time, let me tell you. But if you were to have to fight in a colder climate, you would still be fine as long as you warmed up and broke a good sweat. Once you get rolling you'll be plenty warm.

Wear the sweats man, lean that body up and you will be amazed at the muscles that will appear. Be smart about it though, water and vitamins.

i was freezing when i got to my last fight cos we had to wait for thr guard to let us into the prison , plus we were late there , i got in the place and was told i was on next , i had like 5 mins to warm up at the most , i didnt break sweat and was no where near it.
could tht be the reason of me performing bad?

102 degrees today in the gym. I dunno if it was mental, but I tried to take it easy and i was still dyin. Cut some tough parts outta my workout coz i kinda ran out of time- the tough parts i still did took a lot longer to recover from.

I am working 11 , 12 hour shifts in the scorching heat (not as hot as Texas or Mexico or anything but hot for where I live), then go do some training after it , this heat makes everything seem so hard!
it also makes me bad tempered
