If you're 5'10 and looking to fight, it'd make far more sense to simply clean up the system, train hard, and drive the body as far down in weight as you're comfortable getting.

Wilder, Joshua, Fury, Joyce, Ajagba, Yoka, Gorman, Dubois, and others are all coming on form, and every one of them is over 6'5.

Unless you're the second coming of Qawi, going to heavyweight isn't the move.

In 2019, that's an undisciplined goal. Lean up and go cruiser.

Very few men who are 5'10" tall can weigh 207lbs without carrying excessive amounts of bodyfat.

Additionally, it would be extremely challenging for a boxer who WAS in perfect physical condition at that height and weight to compete in today's heavyweight division.

I'm 6ft1 and am currently training to reach a resting weight of 185.

At 5ft10 between 185 and 190 seems more reasonable to me especially as it'll allow you to compete against people of your own height/weight. At 207 you'll officially be in with the heavyweights (limit for cruiserweight is 200 lbs) which means you could face someone around 6ft5 and 230. Not a wise move as you could get seriously hurt. Size and height make a major difference no matter how good you are.

So as others have said, the wise move would be to get lean.

207lbs is a weirdly specific goal to "bulk up" to... why not just train/eat right and see where you feel best? Without knowing all the specifics of your situation, 207 is not heavy enough to compete at HW when you are only 5'10", and I don't see why anybody of that height should not be able to get down to 175 (at least)

207 pounds is the weight of 5'10" quarterback Kyley Murray in the NFL combine, he looked quite lean and fit and I am very big boned so his build seemed achievable.

                    Even using a peek-a-boo style ?

I'm taller than Tua and Daniel Cormier and the same height as Tyson.
